All classes consist of barre and centre work, across the floor combinations, and choreography. Proper technique, flexibility and strength are emphasized. Students will also learn proper terminology, correct body placement, and expressive movement. Respect for others and appreciation of Ballet as an art form, as well as proper class etiquette are also taught and expected. A dress code is enforced, which promotes this value of respect in the classroom. Small class size allows for personal attention to be given to each dancer, and their progress to be monitored. Careful corrections are given to students individually, allowing them to reach their full potential as dancers.
